WHAT IS SPIRITUAL DIRECTION
Imagine a safe, quiet, and sacred space … a specific time set aside for listening to God. Imagine a caring someone who listens with you … both of you paying attention to God’s presence and invitations in your life. In the midst of our distracted world, it’s a God-oriented time, consecrated and set apart.
Spiritual Direction provides a place of calm rest in the presence of God. It’s intentional … learning to be the beloved. Accepted. Chosen. Set free. And, far greater than our yearning for God, is God’s desire for us … for intimacy.
WHAT’S INVOLVED
Spiritual Direction generally happens once-a-month for an hour, either in person or on the phone. Stepping away from the clamor and pace of our lives, sessions begin with prayer and continue with quiet attentiveness, conversation, times of listening, and questions … all with the focus on what God wants to say to you, noticing how God is active in your life.
